All paper-based files stored in our office are locked away, and access is restricted from clients, service people, and anyone else who is not a member of staff. Electronic files are stored on secure devices with protective software. At the end of your matter, hard copy files are archived and can be kept for 7 years, and disposing of hard copy files sees them safely destroyed.
